1 hour of curriculum planning.
Help with your state's homeschooling law.

2 phone consultations for 20 minutes per year.

Cost: Variable depending on needs and time. ($50-$100)

Basic Curriculum Planning = $50 per hour.

Workshops Available:

K-12 Evaluations

In-person or Online/Phone:

I am a PA Certified Teacher with grading experience in K-12 grades.

*Note that the starting age was changed to 6 years old from the previous 8 years old.

*You can file each year by

Aug. 1st with an unsworn declaration or notarized affidavit, with objectives listed, and medical forms or exemption required.

*Portfolios are NOT handed to the school district, but only the certified letter from the evaluator which is to be addressed to the superintendent by June 30th.

Please receive a certified mail receipt, or ask for a receipt if delivered in person.

Basic, Short Form, In Person:

Elementary K-6 is $40 (30 min.)

High School 7-12 is $50 (30 min.)

(Discount of $5 off 2nd and 3rd children is only until May 31st)

VIRTUAL Evaluation:

Basic Evaluation with Zoom link. You would send information for portfolio via email and payment ahead of the interview.

$30 (15 minutes)

VIRTUAL with Zoom Link For 3+ kids 1 hour $85

Flat Rate for 4+ Kids In Person:

1 hour $100

Group or Co-op Discounted Rates (short form only):

(3 hours maximum)

1 hour $80 (ea. evaluation takes about 15-20 minutes).

Descriptive (narrative letter)

Diploma Programs (PHAA, SVDP, MDHSA) $70 (1 hour)

What to Bring:

Your child who is filed under the Home Education Law
3-10 samples of work from subjects studied from the beginning, middle, and end of the year.
Attendance record of 180 days or 900 hours for elementary/ 990 hours for high school.
Log of reading materials which is a list of books or items read and recorded at the time of instruction.
Standardized test results in reading/ language arts and math for grades 3, 5, 8.

Tutoring, Testing, or Classes

Personalized Tutoring :

Subjects offered are English, cursive writing, reading, and French.

Testing:

BORAT (Reading Assessment) Assesses child's reading level and understanding of phonics.
CAT (California Achievement Test).

Small Classes:

Cursive Writing, English, or French.

Cost for Individual Tutoring =

$25 per 1/2 hour.
$50 per hour.

Cost for Testing =

$25/hr per student.
Group Rate Available.

Cost for Small Classes =

$15 per class per child.
Weekly or bi-weekly.
